The assistants
Trey and Aden had the privilege of being assistant coaches for their Daddy during a spring league game this week. And had a blast.
Trey, always thinking and learning, knows more about the game than most adults. Talking ball with his brother, no doubt breaking down a play or something.
Aden, always curious and encouraging, thinks he is an adult already. Helping his Dad right there on the sidelines in full view of everybody.
Can't resist one more, because rarely does a photo come through that so perfectly showcases the personalities of my boys.
Trey desperate to be a part, straining to listen, while desperately praying that by standing off a bit he will go unnoticed. Aden all up in the middle of everything, probably not listening much, waiting for the coach to finish talking so he can high-five the players.
Love them. (And the coach, too.)
One photo of each boy, every week, doing their thing.
