Celebrations
Aden graduated Kindergarten. Much like the boy himself, the ceremony was fun and sweet. And for Mama, a bit emotional. It's not like I want to do the little-kid thing again, it's just that the only little kid I have left is flying through his milestones with lightning speed.
Mrs. Pierce, Aden's teacher, is retiring this year. The class gave her a homemade quilt with a square for each kid's handprint.
Aden and Gage in a handsome pose.
Aden and Gage in a more natural pose!
Noah, Aden, and Gage. Poor Noah was very emotional about the whole day.
Trey also had an end-of-year outdoor-games party. We the parents are starting to lose our luster with Trey. He's at that age where we don't know much and tend to get in the way. Fun times coming! But he seemed to have fun during his party as I followed him around with the camera.
We also had awards night for Awana. Brave Aden went onstage with his class and said a verse in front of the audience, while Trey again gave into fear and cowered in the pews. Sigh. Still, we are proud of both our boys for their hard work at Awana this year.
