Welcome to Trey's blog. We have decided to use this so that we can include video, and also for the comments feature. Please feel free to leave comments for us - we'll read them all! Psalm 127:3 We are finding this to be such a precious truth. Our sweet baby boy is growing up so fast! At eight months old, our home measurements say he is almost 20 pounds and 28.5 inches long. A new treat for this month - video! Apparently Trey thinks his dad is pretty funny. The first one is about 2 minutes and the second one about 1 1/2 minutes. Trey had two firsts for this month. He has started pulling up, but only using people. The furniture will come soon enough! Also, he got his first taste of juice from a sippy cup. He is not the biggest fan of the sippy cup. What a talkative boy! Trey babbles "dada", "baba", and "yaya", with the occasional "ma" and "ga" sound. We are also learning sign language. Trey knows the sign for milk, and he uses it often! We're still working on the signs for eat, bye-bye, Dada, and Mama. Trey continues to grow quickly, now at 19 pounds and almost 28 inches. He is such a joy, and teaches us more about the love of God every day! Trey's baby dedication service was held on January 20. It was a great ceremony, and Grammy sang beautifully! We are glad for the opportunity to dedicate ourselves to raising Trey to know and serve the Lord. Trey got to spend some time outside this month, experiencing our strange Virginia weather.
