What a busy month. Trey enjoyed his first Thanksgiving, although unfortunately his feast consisted of...formula. He has worked hard on sitting independently (still propped on his arms, though) and now loves playing peek-a-boo. And Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus, he's finally sleeping more at night. Not all the time, but 3-4 days per week he'll sleep over 5 hours at a time. Sometimes as much as 7. Woo hoo, Mommy is verrry happy. No doctor visit this month, so unofficial home measurements are about 17 pounds and 27 inches long. He's a big boy! Here is Trey, showing off his new skill of sitting by himself. This is Trey's special doggie from his Great Pawpaw. I told Trey to give the doggie a kiss. Finally, after 4 and a half months, I am in a picture with my son! The one of Dad & Trey is too cute! Trey has started hiding his face when he eats. Sometimes he gets very upset if the person feeding him talks while he is eating. Some cute ones... Lastly, Trey speaks for all...

We're rolling! Trey rolled over in both directions this month. He is intrigued by his feet and can sit on his own for a few seconds if he's propped up on his arms. Trey will now tell us long stories, and when he gets really excited, he squeals at the top of his lungs. At our four-month checkup, Trey checked in at 15 pounds, 9 ounces and 25 5/8 inches long. Here's our little "bull", as his Pawpaw called him. Halfway through Trunk or Treat at church, Trey decided he'd had enough. He did enjoy seeing the kids dressed as Elmo, though! Trey sucks on everything he sees. Unfortunately, his plan to suck on his stocking cap backfired.

Trey has had a very busy month! He has almost complete control of his head, and he is talking, smiling, and laughing more than ever. The pictures show all the things Trey's been up to lately. He loves to sit up and look around, and when his hands aren't exploring a new toy, they are in his mouth! No doctor checkup this month, so our unofficial home measurements are 15 pounds and 25 inches long. Trey makes his mom and dad laugh every day. The Lord has truly blessed us with Trey! Couldn't resist adding this last one. Trey is totally captivated by the TV. He has been watching the baseball playoffs with his dad, who is so very, very proud!!

Still growing! At last check, Trey was 12 pounds, 13 ounces, and he is 24 inches long. We don't have a great variety of pictures this month, because Trey was sick for over a week and spent a few days in the hospital. But we're getting better now, back to smiling, talking, and gurgling. Dad is pretty sure that Trey said "Hoos". Trey is also beginning to find his hands, reaching out for things and batting at his toys.

We have a big boy! At Trey's one-month doctor visit, he was 10 pounds and 7 ounces. He gained almost 2 pounds in a month! We're settling into a routine - Dad and Mom are finally getting some sleep at night. Trey is smiling at us and talking to us. We're having a great time!

Welcome Baby Trey

Just after being born...27 hours labor is tough on everyone! All we want to do is sleep now. At first, we only slept during the day. And the sleep was always better in someone's arms. Not sleeping at night... Makes for very tired dad & mom. But they love every minute of it anyway! Bathtime is always traumatic. Sweet baby boy...
