Weekend Vacation

Image
OK, so we didn't go far. While Brandon was out of town, Trey and I spent the weekend with Mom and Dad, aka Grammy and Pawpaw. And we had so much fun! On Friday we went out for dinner. Trey had his first ever boat ride, and even got a lesson from Pawpaw on driving the boat. Saturday morning we went shopping, and everyone got a few new clothes for warm weather. Saturday evening found Trey getting dirty, then clean. And Grammy and Pawpaw got to meet the human tidal wave! (In the video it looks like he is all by himself - don't worry, we're all standing around watching.) The counters and floors - and me! - were completely soaked by the time the bath was over. Then on Sunday, after getting dressed up and going to church, it was time to play and relax. Thanks, Grammy and Pawpaw for a great weekend!

Nine months old

Can’t believe our little man is nine months old! He is growing up so fast. At Trey’s checkup, we learned that he is 20 pounds, 5 ounces and 29 inches long. Trey is working so hard on moving around. He can spin while sitting and scoot backwards on his tummy. The video shows his newest move – bottom to tummy. Standing while holding onto something is old business, and Trey has even slowly and very carefully cruised a few steps. Grammy seems to be the only one who can get him to stand on his own. And of course, Trey loves walking around holding our hands. He even has a path he likes to take around the house. One room at a time, we check out ceiling fans, mirrors, and night lights. Praise the Lord for warm weather and the chance to be outside! Trey absolutely loves being outside. As dependably calming as the pacifier. Dad gave Trey his first lesson in mowing. This is sure to be quality man time through the years... Our little ham. When the camera comes out, he smiles and puts on a show. And...
