Trey's party

Image
We hosted Trey's birthday party at our house this year, so more of the family could come. And had a great time celebrating our boy. Chocolate chocolate cupcakes. Again. He's nothing if not consistent. Six years old? No way, Jack. Nene delivers on Just Dance 4. Everyone in the family now walks around with "So here's my number, so call me baby" (Trey's version) in our heads. Of course, he had to read his own cards this year. New set of lefty golf clubs from Giga and Poppop! He's impressed! Aunt Kathy scores bigtime with a bag full of office supplies. She knows the boy! What is Granddad getting? A bike fit for a six-year-old! Happy birthday, Trey. We hope you liked your party!

The one who would show us more about life and faith than we ever could have learned without him. How is he six years old? Has grown over three inches in four months. Loves basketball and going to open gym at school with his Daddy. Will watch Andy Griffith, Duck Dynasty, or Family Feud any time of day. Loves being outside. Swimming, water balloons, bicycle riding, baseball, working in the garden, exploring, catching butterflies or lightning bugs. Teaches Aden his letters. Would never admit it, but loves having Aden around to play with, boss around, and do stuff he's too uptight to do on his own. Eats the same small handful of foods all the time. The word "try" is profanity to him. And not just for food. Anythi...
