Five months

Aden Levi. Big beautiful blond blue-eyed bouncing baby boy. Now five months old.

Oh, I just want to snuggle him all day long. And plaster endless kisses all over his chubby little cheeks.

So in love with this little man.

No doctor's appointment this month, so measurements are anyone's best guess. We'll estimate over 17 pounds.

This kid. Loves. To. Eat. Our menu has increased substantially, now that we've shunned rice cereal and moved onto baby food. He likes everything we put in front of him, almost laughing as he eagerly accepts each bite. Cries when mealtime is over.

At least four 6-oz bottles a day. Three meals a day - 2.5 oz per meal. I can't remember from when Trey was this size, but based on the looks I get when I tell people this, that's probably a lot.

Aden so badly wants to get up and move. He hates being in one position too long. Likes to kick and roll freely on the floor, likes to be in his Hop & Pop, still likes his changing table and to be carried around facing outward.

He is working hard on his legs, and can support his weight standing for a short time. Very, very strong kicks. He kicks a lot when he is happy. The harder he kicks, the happier he is.

Aden has gotten pretty good about going to sleep on his own at night, and very dependably sleeps 10-11 hours. Yay!! He even begs to go to bed before 8:00. This is completely new to us. Trey has too much energy to sleep long.

Loves singing and any kind of music.

Loves being outside and riding in his stroller.

Loves chaos. Bless his heart. God knew we would all need this.

Loves pat-a-cake, peek-a-boo, and Trey's dancing Elmo. Cracks him up.

Loves taking a bath in the duck tub, splashing with all his little might.

Aden is starting to enjoy rattles and teething rings, though he does get frustrated when he loses them. Puts everything in his mouth. Drools like there's no tomorrow.

Has two bottom front teeth. He actually got these around the beginning of October, but alas, it has taken me this long to remember to write it down.

Continues to look like his Mama, double chin, rolls and all, despite his thickening head of fluffy, luxurious super-blond hair.

So in love.
