Better together
It was one of those weekends that leaves your house looking like an earthquake hit right after a tornado ran through. Because of course, tornado ran through is how it looks on any given day. Throw an earthquake on top of that.
But that's OK. Amid the super-warm temperatures and finally-changing leaves, we were too busy just doing fall with some of our favorite people in the whole wide world.
Saturday, we took a group of 35 from our church and community to a college football game. As the scoreboard shifted to overtime on a picture-perfect day, surrounded by family and friends I gazed into the blue and pink and purple sky, breathed in the warm fall air, and gave thanks to my Lord for all He provides. A silly luxury that meant the world to me.
And meant the world to some cute boys, too.
Then on Sunday, one last ride on the boat for the year and a lakeside picnic with Giga and Poppop. And we wouldn't be us without a little exploring. Such a beautiful day full of irreplaceable memories.
