Masterpieces

The boys are on a drawing kick right now, and as their proud and adoring mother, I couldn't not brag about them and forever immortalize their sweet, priceless artwork. It is precious. And sometimes, a little weird.

Anyway, proudly presenting a small sampling from our Post-It Gallery of Boy Masterpieces. (Because Trey's office supply hoarding tendencies mean the only paper we have plenty of is Post-It notes.)

By Trey

"A bee"

"A bicycle"

"An American flag"

"A brick house"

"A swingset"

"A school bus"

"Mama picking apples"

"A mailbox"

You may notice a few recurring themes in Trey's works. There's always a sunshine. Always. And our little entrepreneur actually priced each piece, you know, just in case someone should want to buy them. It's a steal, y'all, at only a penny per drawing.

By Aden

"A furniture for rasslin with stink bugs and sticks all over it"

"A baaaaad truck"

"A green alien"

"A flower and a circle"

"A mouse with hair"

"A bologna and cheese sandwich if you hold it up to your eyes"

"A happy person but he's asleep"

"Jelly toast with no crust"

And the recurring theme for Aden, besides the super-descriptive titles, seems to be monochrome. He's too busy churning out drawings to switch crayons. Ain't nobody got time for that!

There you have it, my latest pride and joy. Oh, how I love these boys.
