Halloween

My least favorite holiday does have a few redeeming qualities. Two in particular.

Trey had decided on being a baseball player well over a month in advance, and in order to be able to wear his costume to school, completed an accelerated reader quiz on a baseball book. Pleasing Mama with the grades and Daddy with the looks!

Aden was less decisive, enough that nothing homemade or already-on-hand could be used, and we had to rush order a costume for him. But he's gotten our money's worth out of it, wearing it almost constantly since it arrived on the porch. Adorned in his fire coat, he calls himself "Chief Aden" and speaks in third person.

It was a good day. I was able to go to Aden's party at his preschool, and took a few pictures there.

Aden's friend Noah had the exact same costume on!

These three (Aden, Nolan, and Noah) stick together all the time.

The whole crew.

Aden's first crush, Presley.

Trunk or treat was great as well, though maybe a little chilly. And with far too much candy brought home.

Which leads us to the end of "get through it to get to it" week. Let the holidays begin!
