Pants day
For your Friday entertainment, I present you with a little glimpse into the inner workings of our Trey Isaiah.
Today presents us with a challenge. You see, today's forecast calls for a high temperature of 60°. That's a good 25 degrees cooler than it has been in a long time.
So it would be time to pull out the long pants.
This is a serious issue, y'all. Be it ever so slight, it is a change to Trey's normal.
On Wednesday of last week, it was a tad cool in the morning, and I had set out some lightweight athletic pants for Trey to wear to preschool. When it came time to get dressed there was an immediate meltdown which, combined with a couple of other things, led to Trey not going to school.
Missed school. Over pants.
This is our boy, folks. Our sweet, wonderful, head-scratcher of a boy.
Knowing that cooler weather was on the docket for today, I have made a point to emphasize the greatness of pants all week long. Trey even tried on a couple of pairs, and told the Trey in the mirror that he was a "good-lookin' little dude".
So maybe we're ready?? We'll know here very soon.
