Their eyes
My boys have beautiful eyes.
Just saying.
I don't know how it is with other kids. But when the boys don't feel good, their eyes are the first thing to show it.
Glassed over. Sagging. Sunken in. Surrounded by thick red rings.
Thus has been the state of the boys' eyes lately. Sad, it's just a sad thing.
The upside is that when the boys start to feel better, their eyes are the first thing to show it.
These are signs of wellness we have been praying for, and that the Lord in His mercy is returning to us.
Big. Clear. Bright. Shiny.
