Tagged?? Are you serious?
Well, Kelly has tagged me. I still love you, Kel, despite the sarcastic rant to follow.
This is not my cup of tea. For two reasons.
One, have a quick look at my list of other blogs. Very short. It is going to be impossible for me to tag 7 other people because I don't have 7 friends with blogs. In fact, other than Kelly, I have one. Hey all you people reading this who don't have a blog...get one and send me the link! It's easy and a great way to brag on your family.
Two, I'm just not that interesting. It took hours of pondering for me to come up with what is below, and I don't even consider this stuff interesting.
Sarcastic rant over. Here we go.
RULES:
* Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
* Share 7 little known facts about yourself on your blog.
* Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
* Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
1 - I have an uncanny ability to predict the gender of a baby in-utero before the gender ultrasound is done. As far back as I can remember, I've been wrong only once. I figured when I ever had a child I wouldn't be able to predict for myself. As it turns out, a week before the positive pregnancy test for Trey, I dreamed I would have a baby boy.
2 - I quoted Psalm 91 out loud every day of my pregnancy. I continue to recite it to Trey every day of his life.
3 - Let's combine 2 well-known facts about me for this one. I am a nerd, and I am type A, OCD, perfectionist. For an extreme example of those two things put together, I wrote my own computer program to manage our checkbook, transactions, and budget. Wanted something that was exactly what we needed and figured it would be easier than trying a bunch.
4 - I am addicted to chap stick. If I suddenly realize it's not in my pocket, my lips immediately hurt. I know all addictions are bad. Anyone with any suggestions on breaking chap stick addictions, speak up.
5 - I love architecture. I helped design my parents' house and did much of the design for my house's remodel and addition.
6 - Not into fashion. I'm pretty much content to wear whatever I have that fits, and if I have to buy something, it has to be pretty inexpensive. This fashion-avoidance has 2 exceptions. Maternity, when ironically I had a better self-image than at any point in my life. And shoes. Every 2 years or so I really enjoy getting a cute pair of shoes. My favorite shoe splurge: the Bass outlet at Myrtle Beach.
7 - Not a good talker. I find it very difficult to express myself verbally. Love this blog. It's nice to use the backspace key if I say something the wrong way. But I don't like talking. And I DO NOT like to talk on the phone. Short 5-minute max conversations are OK, but let's get it over with. Just email me.
So that's it. And probably more than you wanted to know. So now, my one person to tag is Tiffany.

I too have an addiction to chapstick...and I too make my lips hurt by realizing that I don't have my chapstick with me. Agh.
I love how you recite Psalm 91 to little Trey. That's just beautiful.
You are not a nerd...you are just awesomely smart...and I would love to live in an house that you designed or have a checkbook program made by you (although I may not be organized enough to use it)
And, I too love the backspace key...cause I fumble over my words.
HEHEHEHEH, I enjoyed your "Tagged" blog very much! And I learned some new things about you too:)
