Goals
He wants to work for Google. Specifically, in the maps division. He's a self-taught geography genius, because most all of his allotted electronics time is spent on street view, getting to know the interstate system and major cities along the Atlantic coast.
We shouldn't be surprised, I suppose. At two, he was obsessed with clocks and taught himself to count backwards, add, and subtract, all by watching digital clocks. Not many boys around who can put that on their resume.
He wants to be a pilot. Passenger aircraft, sure. Military jets, absolutely. But the ultimate aspiration is to fly a sea plane. Because a plane with pontoons cannot be surpassed in its coolness. He wants to take off, pull the landing gear up, flip and twist and run obstacles, land in a lake, and tie the plane to a dock. He gets specific, I tell you.
And this sweet man who has such a hard time focusing on anything has, almost every day, brought home pages and pages from his free time at school with good-looking airplanes drawn on each and every one.
One photo of each boy, every week, doing their thing.
