On the farm with the fellas
One thing is for sure, Aden's got him some boys. And there was some serious male bonding that went on during the fall Kindergarten field trip.
The BFF crew of Aden, Noah, Nolan, and Levi are like peas and carrots. And peas and carrots. Since there's four of them.
Levi, Nolan, and Aden - Noah stuck close to his Mama at first, but warmed up after a while.
The farm workers tried to get all the kids to hang with their parents. These boys weren't having it!
The free souvenir - a baby pumpkin!
Aden's poor teacher started out reading the story that marked the way through the corn maze, but by halfway through, the kids were just screaming and running in all directions. It's Kindergarten.
Jumping pillow, and I still wish we had one of these at home.
Corn works so much better with backhoes and dump trucks than dirt. And no mess, other than the kernels falling out of your socks later in the day.
Giant tire climbing. It doesn't get any manlier than this.
Stuck in a giant spider web. My own personal nightmare.
This used to be an underground slide, but our recent flooding caved the old slide in!
Puppet show, and the only time Aden ventured away from his boys. The girls love Aden too, by the way.
No clue what this game was, trying to toss a ring around a small hook, but Aden was the only kid that got the ring on the hook!
Pumpkin tetherball. It got violent towards the end.
A game of "shark chase" through the pumpkin maze. It was at this point that Levi kind of fell apart and had to leave. Nolan left too. So it was just Aden and Noah.
Class picture. Aden was late to the game because he had been guzzling an orange Powerade, and didn't make it onto the rocking chair. And his lips are orange, but you can't really tell.
Aden and Noah head out, holding tight lest anyone try to split them up on their way to their school bus seat.
"Aden, what was the best part of your field trip?"
"Riding the bus!" (says the car-rider)
"Oh, and playing with my friends."
