Ten months old
After a long illness, Trey finally has his Nana back. And thanks to all of you who prayed for her through that time. Welcome back, Nana, we love you!!

This was the month for our first professional haircut, and despite Trey's protests, it went quite well. He looks even more grown up now.
Like mother, like son...Trey is a bookworm. We sit at his bookshelf, and one by one, he pulls a book off the shelf and we read it. Then he throws it in the floor and goes back for another book. He is very good at turning pages, and even knows when I'm reading the last page, because then he closes the book. Also, he laughs at certain pages. We have so much fun with books!

At the start of this month, Trey had a good vocabulary going. But then he started saying "dat"...and nothing else. We're hearing a little more now, but for weeks that was the only word we heard. Tried several times to get it on camera, and this was the best take:
Just when Trey had gotten so good at walking with our hands, and we thought he might skip crawling altogether, he surprised us and crawled. He's pretty slow and careful with it - and shy, apparently. This extremely hard-to-get video was taken a few weeks ago, when he crawled in very short spurts. He's gotten better since then, and can pretty much go where he wants to now.
Little cutie...
